Return & Refund Policy

At Rise Sport UK, we want you to be completely satisfied with every purchase. If you are not happy with your order for any reason, we have made the return and refund process as straightforward as possible. This policy is in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

1. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel any online order within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason. This is your legal "cooling-off period".

To exercise this right, you must notify us clearly in writing (by email to risesport@atomicmail.io or by letter to The Chel Centre, 34 Roundhay Rd, Leeds LS7 1AB) within the 14-day period.

Please note: The cooling-off right does not apply to products that have been opened and are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons (e.g., opened protein tubs). This exception applies only to products which have been unsealed after delivery. Sealed, unopened products retain the full 14-day cancellation right.

2. Our Extended Return Period

In addition to your statutory rights, Rise Sport UK offers an extended 30-day return period from the date of delivery for all unopened, sealed products in their original condition. This is a goodwill gesture and goes beyond your legal entitlements.

3. Conditions for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:

  • Returned within 30 days of the delivery date
  • In the original, undamaged packaging
  • Completely sealed and unopened (for health/hygiene products)
  • Not a personalised or custom-made product
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt)

4. Faulty or Damaged Products

If you receive a faulty, damaged or incorrect product, you are entitled to a full remedy under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. In these circumstances:

  • You may return the item within 30 days for a full refund (including return postage costs)
  • Between 30 days and 6 months, we will first attempt a repair or replacement. If this is not possible, you are entitled to a full refund
  • After 6 months, the burden of proof shifts to you to demonstrate the product was faulty at time of purchase

5. How to Return an Item

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  • Email risesport@atomicmail.io with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for return
  • We will respond within 2 working days with a Return Authorisation Number (RAN) and return instructions
  • Pack the item securely in its original packaging
  • Write the RAN clearly on the outside of the parcel
  • Send the parcel to: Rise Sport UK Returns, The Chel Centre, 34 Roundhay Rd, Leeds LS7 1AB
  • We recommend using a tracked postal service and retaining your proof of posting

6. Return Postage Costs

Return postage is the customer's responsibility, except in cases where:

  • The product was received faulty, damaged or incorrectly sent
  • The return falls within your statutory 14-day cooling-off period and we have provided a prepaid label

We recommend Royal Mail Tracked for returns. We cannot accept responsibility for returns lost in transit that were not sent via a tracked service.

7. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved:

  • Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the return
  • Bank and card processing may take an additional 3-5 working days to appear in your account
  • Original delivery costs are refunded only if the entire order is cancelled within the 14-day cooling-off period

8. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different product, please return your original order (subject to the conditions above) and place a new order for the item you require.

9. Sale Items

Sale items are eligible for return under the same conditions as full-price items. The refund will be for the price you paid, not the full retail price.
